Muro Gastronomic Fair

Muro, the inland Alicante gastronomy of which offers tradition: la borreta, el blat picat or les bajoques farcides are some of the typical dishes including sausages dressed with the aromatic herbs of the Sierra Mariola. The cooking in Muro also benefits from one luxury ingredient, the oil from its centenary olive trees.

If you feel like trying all of these delicacies you can do so 29th and 30th September in the Muro Gastronomic Fair of typical and craft products, which is celebrating its second year. Here 27 participants from the town itself and the surrounding areas will be offering the possibility of savouring rich recipes elaborated with the excellent products of the land.

The gathering will take place in the square called Plaza Matzem on Saturday from 12 to 3pm and from 5 to 9pm and on Sunday from 10:30am to 3pm and from 5 to 9pm.

As well as the sampling of the typical products there will also be entertainment activities in the fair, both for children and for adults, shows, hamper raffle and one will also be able to undertake different routes through Vila de Muro on board a tourist train.
