Moto GP Valencia (MotoGP Valencia 2009)

The Moto GP will be held at Cheste, Valencia from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th November 2009. 

INTRODUCTION

The Circuito de la comunitat Valenciana was completed in 1999 and held rounds of the MotoGP and spanish motorcycle Championships in the same year. The Cheste track has several layouts, running anticlock wise with varying lengths. Moto GP events are held on a 4km track comprising of five right handed corners, eight left handers and a 650m straight. Although the track is regarded as quite small, the pit complex contains 48 garages whilst the stadium style grandstands can seat up to 150.000 spectators. The circuit layout helps to create a unique atmosphere enjoyed by Spanish and international riders alike and as the last race of the season there is sure to be a party feeling to the grand prix  this year.

ARRIVE

From Madrid take teh N-111(E901) main road southeast towards La roda and Albacete. Just after joining the A-31 motorway, take the A-3 (E-901) east towards Valencia. After Chiva, exit at Junction 319 (Salida Cheste) for “ACCESO 3” parking or use Exit 321 (Salida Urbanizaciones) for “ACCESO 1 ” parking.

From Barcelona and the north, use the A-7 (E15) motorway along the Mediterranean coast. Then take the A-3 (E-901) west towards Requena. Use exit 327 for “ACCESO 2” parking.

From the airport take the way out to the autovia A-3 Madrid-Valencia, direction to Madrid. After 10km take the exit 334 called  “Circuito-urbanizaciones”.
