The largest flea market occurs every Sunday morning in the Plaza Luis Casanova, Much of the stuff looks rubbish, but you can find the occasional gem. Take the metro to Aragon.
There is a smaler Sunday market, dealing particulary in caged birds and pittyfull pets, in the Plaza Redonda.
Every Thursday there is a large market on the east side of town in the district of Canyal, heading towards the beach. If you like to browse you can find some good clothing bargains. Bus 81 from the Plaza de Ayuntamiento brings you there.
