Another Landmark Decision

A Valencian court has found a 72-year-old man not guilty of selling falsified goods on his market stall last Christmas. He had faced a prison term of six months and a fine of over a thousand Euros after being discovered selling bracelets and necklaces that carries the small bear of the ‘Tous’ brand of jewellery for between five and eight Euros. In handing down its decision, the court found the 72-year-old innocent ‘as anyone in their right mind would know that Tous jewellery does not sell for that laughable price’.
