Investigation Takes a Sinister Turn

The Guardia Civil investigation into the apparent death of a German man who sailed his yacht out to sea from Calpe and has not been seen since took a more sinister turn yesterday as investigators now believe that the man in fact deliberately sank his craft and committed suicide. He had apparently discovered that he had contracted a fatal illness. Also yesterday a local fisherman revealed that he had trawled up in his nets a series of documents and the remains of a yacht. All that is known about the craft is that it was painted red and was 5 metres overall.
