New Hospital

It was revealed yesterday that a private company has apparently been given permission to build a clinic close to the Pla de Bonaire Industrial Estate. This would appear to be part of a plan initiated by Benissa mayor Juan Bautista Rosello and his counterpart in Teulada, Jose Ciscar, both of whom have always been in favour of building a hospital between their two municipalities that could better serve their area of the Marina Alta area of Alicante Province. A forthcoming Town Council meeting will study the offers for the hospital, one of the conditions of which is that it be built, completed and functioning in under 30 months.
